hotel itself was the most beautiful I have ever stayed in (the location
and vistas, the gorgeous building and the decoration) but it was also
the best staffed. Hotel staff can be friendly or they can be enjoyable

looking to help us with, for example, directions for days out of

long days of sight-seeing. It is a short walk to the bus stop to catch

It is so quiet at night and cooler than Florence. Dinner on the terrazza overlooking Florence. The antique everything. What better than a stay in a Medici Villa for a visit to Florence! You can buy bus tickets right there and hike up to the road to catch a bus. Nice 20 min walk to Fiesole, or you can take the bus. Coffee on the Terrazza next to the Aurora Hotel in Fiesole is great too. There is no A/C but the large ceiling fan was sufficient. No TV, but who has time to watch tv with all the stu
