the quiet - We were not right in Venice, which made it nice to come back to the island after a busy day. There were a lot of shops, etc. on the island if you wanted or needed. It was nice to have a phone in the room to call home.

After flying into Marco Polo airport and getting our luggage onto the Alilaguna ferry, we really appreciated knowing that we would be met at the Lido ferry terminal. Our host gave excellent directions for how to get about by bus for the rest of our stay.
The room was perfect, very clean and spacious, and the shower very hot - great after a long day sightseeing in Venice. Internet access was easy in our room too.

We stayed for a week and enjoyed our experience very much. It was the best way to visit Venice and also spend some days at the beach. The staff were wonderful. Also to our surprise, Lido center itself was very relaxing and a nice walk from the hotel.
