  This hotel was quite simply one of the nicest we have ever stayed in. The sheer delight of being in such a historic building, beautifully restored with spacious rooms and excellent facilities was a treat not to be missed. I would definitely stay here again and - Staff totally responsive when had an air conditioning problem. Staff were very helpful and able to answer all our information requests. Room perfectly suited our needs - staff responded to booking request to provide room away from noise. - Room size was considerably amazing as a double economy that could fit 4 double beds iside. Original features and interiors, lovely 15th century palazzo which has a more personal feel than a hotel. Chic without being expensive and snobby.

  From the moment we arrived in the hotel we were pleasantly surprised by the friendliness and helpfulness of Luigi at reception. He was very pleasant. The rooms were of authentic Italian design although one of our rooms was quite small it was still adequate for our 2 night stay in Florence. The beds were comfortable and the air con was super. I had not been there for a decade or more and this time found it had upgraded itself to a 'hotel,' level 3 in the Italian style of rating.
