  One of the best hostels I've stayed at. Check in was simple, and the people were very kind. It's a huge hostel/hotel so it doesn't have the general "hostel atmosphere" in main areas, but I stayed in a female dorm with 5 other girls, and made instant friends! From a delicious included breakfast, to laundry facilities, free filtered water machine, and hot water for making tea etc - The staff we're nice and obliging. 24 hour reception and no curfew. The rooms were great and kept quite tidy. Bathrooms were kept very clean which was nice. Free wi-fi was awesome. If you want to spend your last day exploring- you can leave your bags at the hotel and pick them up later so you don't have to take them around with you all day.   The hotel was easy to find and quick to get to from the station. We emailed to say our arrival time and check directions. We received a swift reply with a map which explained that we had to look for Hotel Azzi. The reception downstairs was the check in for all the B&Bs. The rooms are large, clean, are in buildings that are hundreds of years old and have great character! Air conditioning works! We walked to most of the major landmarks like. Il Duomo, Ponte Vecchio and the Pantheon. The desk staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave us an extra room when they had a vacancy next to ours for no extra charge. They provided the BEST breakfast buffet!

  Travelling with a friend and they gave us a spacious room with a double bed and a single bed. The room was fully air-conditioned and very clean. The hotel itself is secure and only a short walk from the main train station (but unlike a lot of other cities the area around the train station is actually quite nice). No complaints! - It had been newly refurbished so everything was clean and felt like a hotel of a higher rating. It was perfect for my friend and I who are students, we stayed for two nights, we were primarily concerned with budget when booking and were pleasantly surprised with how lovely it was. The breakfast was also far above our expectations. This is a great place to stay if you are on a budget. It was perfect for our needs.

  The hotel is very close to the Santa Maria Novella railway station and just 10-15 min. walk away from major sights. We had a very spacious corner room with high seilings, so it never got very hot and it was enough to switch the air conditioner on for a couple of hours in the evening to keep the room cool all night.   The hotel is about 4 minute walk from the train station, which is very convenient and there are restaurant nearby. In all the hotels we stayed this month, I have to say this is the most comfortable one and the staff is really nice and kind.
