  The hotel is very close to the Santa Maria Novella railway station and just 10-15 min. walk away from major sights. We had a very spacious corner room with high seilings, so it never got very hot and it was enough to switch the air conditioner on for a couple of hours in the evening to keep the room cool all night.   The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The rooms are very charming with high ceilings, and actually had a bathtub which has been uncommon traveling in Europe. Location is great for travelers without car, 10 minutes walk from the railway station so you could easily reach most Florence attractions on foot.

  Good location, only about 20 min walk to main town and 5 min walk to central train station. Spacious rooms, but lacking proper wardrobe and coat hangers. It has a small kitchen anex, which was very convenient. The manager Elvis was very helpfull in trying to sort out the transport to Lajatico for us. The view from balcony is onto another block of flats and not the tow - This is an excellent accommodation on offer, particularly considering the moderate price. I would also mention that when my wife and I just arrived, Ervis, a staff member gave us a thorough introduction about Florence, which was really help.   This is not really a hotel but an apartment that has been converted into bedrooms, some with en suite showers. We lucked out by having the one room with air-conditioning, an unexpected bonus. No breakfast included, but situated near the station close to shops with normal (non-tourist) prices. The shared fridge in the corridor was very useful. Overall, would recommend.
