  Staff were very kind and friendly. Rooms were light and airy with lovely views. We had an excellent meal in the restaurant in the evening. We liked the way the buildings had been restored, including the interesting dining room. It was a very relaxing place to be.

  This was a collection of old buildings centred around a medieval defensive tower which has been tastefully converted to provide guest accommodation. Its position is fantastic with views across the lake to the mountains beyond. Utterly peaceful. We were the only guests and our host could not have made us more welcome. We felt that we arrived as guests and left as friends despite ou - Antonio was a wonderful host and made our stay very special. The 2 dinners he cooked for us were delicious. He was very helpful and friendly and made us feel like family. He couldn't have done more for us and even took us truffle hunting with some friends! A very special stay-thank you very much.
