We were running late & called the restaurant that was due to close around 9.00pm.they agreed to stay open just for us-we arrived at 9.30pm and the staff stayed on in order to serve us.leaving around 10.30pm the room was very clean & comfortable. The owner could not have been more helpful. Breakfast at 7.00am was generous.-proximity to the ferryport just down the road a big bonus which meant that we were able to eat breakfast and still check in one hr prior to the 8.40am irish ferries sa.
kaikki arvostelut » Four of us stayed one night and found it ideal as a stop-off at the beginning and end of our Holiday so conveniently close to the Ferry...we could not fault anything Good friendly service spotless clean and excellent bathrooms 7 shower pressure...Excilent family friendly Pub for food and drinks 100yds along the same side of the road,we didn't want for anything and its all very recommendable by all of us...John & Marion Keogh and cousins Chris & Denis Meehan. The Welcome we received was wonderful.We were greeted by a genuine happy lady who offered us the choice of a ground floor bedroom which was great. After Dinner she also served us some drinks in the very pleasant lounge. The room was clean,comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. We left early to catch a ferry so we did not have breakfast I thought the Hotel was very good value for money. . Fantastically surprised by FerryPort House! Travelling with cousin (both of us over 70!) and hotel booked 'blind' by my daughter. What awonderful surprise when we arrived! Hotel was delightful, amenities brilliant, staff fantastic and food excellent! Absolutely terriffic value for money - recommending to all family and friends!. We received a lovely warm welcome upon arrival, after debarking the ferry and having had a long drive to Fishguard to embark the ferry - exactly what was needed! The hotel is small and very friendly. Nothing luxurious about it but clean, comfortable, quiet and very relaxing. Excellent value for money. I found the staff very good, they were friendly, always smiling and nothing was too much trouble for them, I felt very safe there and felt it was a happy hotel,I had car problems which meant I coulden't catch the ferry so they found me a room suitable for my needs .its a very busy hotel.a. staff were so friendly and genuinely were super helpful and could not do enough for us - very warm and generous people. Food in restaurant was fine, but be warned that portions are large!! Entrees are a good option. Talk to the staff if you need transport to the ferry :-). I have not ticked any word in section 3, as I used Ferryport House as a stop-off point on my journey from Cork to London via the Stena Ferry from Rosslare. Words that come to mind are Friendly, Helpful, Good Value and Convenient. I will stay again on my next trip. Greeted by friendly staff. Clean large room light and bright ,very close to ferry port , Had a meal in hotel very good .Had a small problem with toilet reported it and with in half a hour maintenance came and this was after nine in the evening. The owner / manager was extremely nice and very helpful - we had to be up early to catch a ferry and she did everything she could to assist us with the early start. Also the restuatant was very handy, great food and was value for money. Very convenient location, 2 minutes from the ferry port. Convenient hotel , very clean. Good idea to be twinned with an asian restaurant (not what we were expecting in an Irish hotel, but a good surprise with fine food and service). The room was very clean, modern and comfortable and the staff were very relaxed and friendly, they went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and have even returned my favourite scarf that I left behind by mistake!. The Receptionist - very welcoming, and very helpful. Our room was superb - very clean, comfortable and large. The bathroom was excellent too. We have been placed in a ground floor room which was great considering we had a lot of luggage ready for our trip on the ferry. Staff very frindly, room clean and comfrotable. Great value for money. Not sure about the Fusion Restaurant attached to the Hotel. We had Dinner there because it was convienient for us. The Decor is very nice but I thought it lacked atmosphere. I did think it was overpriced,but the food was enjoyable. nothing not to like about the Ferryport B and B - but you will need to organise transport to the Ferry terminal itself - it's further that you would want to walk, and certainly not with luggage or in wet weather. Honestly, there was nothing I didn't like. Nothing, we were looking for a convenient confortable hotel close to the ferry, and have not been desapointed at all. No dislikes. No complaints at all, we would certainly use again. Not much car parking room. No place to go out at nite. Would be nice if it had a bar, we just wanted to sit & relax, but had to go to the next hotel for that, upon which we saw the difference & would have booked there if it had been on letsbookhotel.com. The mattress on the double bed in room 21 needs changing . We could only stay over one night. The bunk beds were a little squeaky making the girl on the top bunk uncomfortable as she was afraid to move in case she woke up the girl in the bottom bunk. Lack of shampoo. Towels too small. No lift?. Nothing. Nothing!. No bar as such although drinks were available. The mattresses on the beds need to be replaced. No basic restaurant available only alacarte - a bit too fussy and expensive for us. Just wanted a drink and a bar meal after a long drive. time of arrival. space for the toilet too cramped toilet holder wrong position when sitting on toilet. Nothing really.
