  This was a very nice "home base" for exploring the Bavarian countryside. We stayed here for 3 nights as a "vacation from our vacation", and it was wonderful to get away from all of the umbrella-toting tour group guides.

  I enjoyed everything about the hotel from the friendliness of the owner/staff to the attention to detail on making their guest comfortable. The only comment I would make is that the wireless internet was not accessible from the rear building where my room was located.   We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday at Das Tergernsee and had a wonderful time. The entire reservation was handled professionally and efficiently and we were delighted with the room, menu and decor. The hotel is beautiful, with the most fantastic view of the lake. Our only regret was not spending more time in this lovely hotel.
