  The hotel is a beautifully and stylishly restored home in a side street very close to the Chateau. The owner went out of her way to be helpful, communicating with us about our plans, helping with dinner recommendations, and even helping to find somewhere to have our car repaired after it developed a problem on the outward journey. Definitely worth stopping if you're travelling through the ar - The friendly and very helpful welcome by the proprietor, the quality of the fittings and furnishings, the quality of the meals we had at La Domaine de Stanislas and the general spaciousness of the property. We were in transit from the South of England to Zurich and had no hesitation in booking a room for our return journey a week later.
