  The hosts of this guest house made us feel really welcome. The blazing lovely fire in the sitting room greeted us on our arrival and the dinner (5 courses) was delicious at only 20 Euros each. We weren't expecting to eat with the hosts but it turned into a very enjoyable evening. We stayed in the attic which had a bedroom area (1 dble & 1 sing... mitä ihmiset sanovat » e beds), lounge area, kitchenette & shower. The views from the bedroom were beautiful. A river flowed past and the mountains over looked the house - A stunningly good experience. Visitors are guests in a lovely home. Paul, le Patron, is a very hospitable, cheerful, helpful and friendly host. In addition he is a superb chef. Aux Quatre Saisons is worth a visit just for dinner alone. The price charged for dinner there should probably be at least three times as much as Paul charges and would be in any Restaurant with any reputation; 6 splendid courses with appropriate very well chosen wines, all inclusive. This is Michelin star cuisine. Visit

  This was the second time we stayed at Echappee, and once again Graham and Sandra were wonderful hosts. Their philosophy is that they are always available in case guests have questions or need anything, but otherwise they are happy to leave you in peace to relax, enjoy the beautiful surroundings, and feel that the place is your own for the duration... mitä ihmiset sanovat » of your stay. We particularly liked their breakfast model - they deliver a tray outside your room at your chosen time and you then decide for yourse - This was so much more than a B&B. Clean, bright, modern and so comfortable. It felt more like a boutique hotel on a B&B budget. The yummy breakfast was placed outside our room at the time we’d requested which was great as we’ve never really enjoyed eating breakfast around a communal table with total strangers. Instead we spent a lovely morning lounging in our big cosy bed in our fluffy bathrobes having breakfast and looking out at the most wonderful views of the Pyrenees and listenin
