  What an amazing place to stay for a holiday! The first pousada to be founded in Trancoso about 28 years ago by a couple whose grown children (Joanna and Ian) now virtually run the place. We had deluxe rooms at a very reasonable rate compared to the pousadas located directly on the beaches nearby. We were in walki - A family owned operation who run an exceptional Pousada. The attention to detail was incredible, especially the strategically placed vases of stunning tropical flowers placed in our room and all around the Pousada. Afternoon tea that was provided was a very special touch. Great value.

  What an experience! Reginne and Bernard's hospitality was amazing! From taking us on a private tour of Arraial d'Ajuda, to wonderful homecooked breakfasts, we felt like we were friends, not guests. You can tell they love the wonderful home they have created and love even more sharing it with their guests. Bernard and Regine were extremely friendly and helpful hosts while still allowing us the independence and privacy we wanted. The breakfast was excellent. The beaches(10mins walk) are beautiful and the bar and restaurant area of Arraial (20mins walk)was safe and had excellent live music.

  Gary and Juan Carlos have created a lovely space to stay just a few hundred metres from the nearest beach. Our room was very nicely designed in a modern white and dark wood colonial style. It also had a private terrace to the front where our breakfast was served. Gary plays host and is very friendly and enthusiastic to help. Ther - The pousada is delightful the chalets are very tastefully decorated, comfortable with great touches such as a torch for you to use at night if you are eating in other restaurants and insect repellent in the room. The breakfast are plentiful and good and served in your bungalow. Gary will give you all the details on what is available in the area and will assist you in booking. It is fabulous to to have any television. The dinners are great and there is wine when you have had your share of fruit
