  Our car had broken down just outside Newcastle (had to be towed) causing us to be late arriving at Hotel, with only 1/2 hour for a quick change to attend a family wedding. Staff were fantastic making checkin QUICK, and booking a taxi to get us to the church on time!! Room was lovely, but unfortunately we didn't have time to enjoy & relax. Decent size coffee mugs in addition to the normal small cups. 4. Room was a decent size and well decorated and well lit with both natural light and light fittings. 5. The balcony was excellent, private and with an ocean view. 6. Short distance from the beach.

  The staff were so helpful, friendly and most attentive. Even a request for a snack at 1am after having attended a concert was no problem. We should admit that we have never before eating in the restaurant and adore every bit of the dish. We stayed in middle floor room with ocean view - that was really amazing! Rang again & received OK for grandson to take our booking. He then forgot the correct date. They checked with us & allowed grandson to stay the following day. Now that's service for you!! Thanks from us & our grandson. - We thought the Travelodge Motel was extremely good , the staff were courteous and helpful. the room was clean as was the linen. we had adverse reports prior to our stay and were apprehensive. The position was excellent for our purpose.

  Staff very friendly, polite and informative. Central location walked to marina, shops and clubs. And loved the old pub heritage front withe the modern 4 star motel!!! - Friendly check-in, although had to get into the pub. Super close to bars and restaurants (Darby street and also waterfront). Overall very happy. Good beds!
