Situated in a national park there was good access to several short and long walks. No television in rooms was great, added to the peaceful, relaxing feel of the whole area. The option of cooking for yourself or a great bistro and al carte restaurant (didn't dine al carte) with wonderful food options including a picnic hamper for walking is great a great idea. Bliss. The highlight of our trip. Peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings. Who doesn't want to curl up in front of a fire in a log cabin in the mountains. Sharon and Ian were fantastic and helped you with anything you needed. Extended our stay and wished we could have stay longer. Cosy, comfortable, and charming.
