  Room looked basic from decor perspective but had facilities over & above what I expected (tea & coffee, mini fridge, iron & board). Everything worked & room v v clean. Asked for "high & quiet" room which I got. All in all v pleasant stay, have recommended to others already! - Amazing for the price. I was a bit nervous after reading some of the negative reviews but this place is a gem. Cheap and right in the heart of the city. The room was small but perfect for a single. Air conditioning, TV, kettle, fridge, wardrobe, iron, ensuite and quiet. I've paid twice this for a comparable room in a comparable location. No hesitation in recommending and will definitely stay here again. - I read lots of very negative on-line reviews about this hotel; so upon arrival, I was apprehensive. But I was surprised - location was perfect for the price I pay. Service was good and my room, towel and linen were clean. I would recommend this hotel again to any solo traveller especially ones on business trips. I wouldn't recommend it to a family on long holiday trips as size of standard room is small.

Being right in the cbd was great and we enjoyed our evening views over the street. Being on the 9th floor meant we were far enough away from any street noise. The staff were friendly and obliging. This is a great spot to explore from. We enjoyed being almost across the road from Rom - The first time I stayed at Abbey apartments I booked a superior room but it was absolutely disgusting. Shocking! So this time I asked to make sure I really had a superior room as each time I paid extra for it. This time my room was lovely. Great value for money. Lovely furnishings, dishwasher, dryer,and washing machine. I appreciated that the improved things for me this time. I liked that the heating and cooling was so easy to control and fab location.

A couple of things that were a stand out was the standard of our room - modern, comfy and clean and the location - pretty much walking distance to everything.   Lovely apartment almost penthouse feel to it. Had the best balcony with wonderful city views. Got sunset and sunrise. Very clean and big. It's a great location and you can walk into the city in a few minutes. No free WiFi but just down the road is a Wi-Fi hotspot in a park so no real issue. Friendly helpful staff. Breakfast at the recommended street cafe was vast and best value I had in whole 3 week trip. Although this isn't in centre of Brisbane it is ideally located.

  Everything, it was well worth the money spent!! Excellent sized executive suite, 2bdrm 1 with an ensuite, another separate bathroom, great sized massive wardrobes woth mirrored doors in both rooms, washing machine, dryer, decent kitchen utilities, good sized dining/lounge, great sized balcony, swimming pool has slight view over some of the buildin... mitä ihmiset sanovat » gs/streets, great area for sunbathing, bbq facilities, gym facilities, also supermarket is literally less than 1min walk from front entrance, also ba - Nice apartment in a great location. All basic necessities provided including a complete kitchenette unit. Very near to all amenities and shopping areas. Woolworth food store is just downstairs and is of great help. The reception are very supportive and extremely courteous. Especially Ms.Emma has been of great help. We will return to Republic Apartment in our next visit to Brisbane.
