  The staff were very friendly and were more than happy to hold our bags until we flew out later that day. They also provided us with a map with things to do while staying in Canberra. The room had everything we needed on our budget and was close to the event which we travelled to be a part of. Despite the fact that our apartment was around the corner from the main building, room service was available (although we didn't try it). Extras included abundant parking, and a lovely outside grassed area. The hotel also offers gym usage for a fee at Rydges just down the road.

  The incredible atrium forms the centrepiece of this remarkable hotel and for us provided a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We were made most welcome by the courteous and attentive staff and overall our stay was extremely pleasant. We had breakfast in the Café which presented a good choice of quality food. Highly recommended. - Friendly staff who were all very helpful. It's amazing that it is somewhat a rarity amongst Australian hotel / motel in this price range.(or the nxt one up, sometimes) We came back v late on the second day, informed the reception and we had a late check-out.
