We had a fabulous stay and cannot fault the accommodation and facilities. A couple of things that were a stand out was the standard of our room - modern, comfy and clean and the location - pretty much walking distance to everything. Southbank is just amazing!. The location was great, right in the middle of the cbd. Our beds were super comfy, air con worked a treat and the cleaning staff were awesome - left us alone if we had do not disturb and came later in the afternoon and changed all our towels etc.

Staff do a good job cleaning and putting our dish into disnwasher. 1 Kitchen had good utensils 2 Front Guest very friendly and helpful 3 Air-conditioning was excellent 4 Lots of cupboards and drawers in the bathroom 5 Great location 6 no party policy!!! GREAT 7 good-sized balconies. We always stay at the Quest River esp during my surgeries-its our home away from home - always comfortable, excellent staff and cleanliness, accessible to everything. And of course, we always love the upgrade. Clean and modern. 2 balconies. Requested high floor and room away from lift which was provided.View to river from 22nd floor. Lifts arrived quickly. Onsite secure parking. Centrally located in Brisbane cbd. The girls on the front reception, Michelle and Jen were fantastic. They were welcoming, friendly and efficient when checking you in, which is very important and all with a friendly but professional smile!. The hotel is located at only a 5-minute walk from Brisbane CBD area and provides easy access car park for guests. For the room, we got the best value of money with a very spacious 2bedroom apartment. Location was excellent for shopping, theatre and other city ventures. Facilities excellent and staff very pleasant and helpful. Able to sleep comfortably and city noises and traffic not noticeable. Ample space and good facilities. Value for money compared with hotels in other countries. Great location for all needs. Comfortable and well appointed furnishings. Apartments were modern and had everything you needed. Location was very central and overall would definitely recommend this property and stay again. The way the staff helped us relocate to another room because of noise and also when we had to leave early for my mothers health reasons. Exhaust fan not working in either bathroom. Roll up blind not working in bedroom. Blinds for windows are not that private. Just the noise but that was not controlled by the hotel. Maybe free wifi. Poor TV reception. No coffee plunger. I was a little concerned about the lock on the door. I was on my own and felt that the door needed an additional lock. As I was in the unit on the car parking levels, I also feel the outer door could have had a lock. The shower head was fixed a little too low... the beeping noise that turned out to be the intercom (unfortunatly i didnt read the hotel guide prior to ordering food to know what this sound was, and the pizza guy said the last person had the same thing happen). Could smell odors from neighbor's cooking. It would have been nice to have an additional t.v. in one of the rooms as we were travelling with our son and he likes to watch dvd's. more cleaning care, ie table edge and arms of chairs were grubby. No info on how to use the TV for foxtel etc. Could not use the balcony due to air con noise from surrounding buildings. Likewise could not open doors or windows because of the exterior noises. Unexpected credit card surcharge - should have been made aware at time of booking. There were 3 of us in our group & we all felt the pillows were really flat. Apart from that, we enjoyed our stay. Could have been a little cleaner but still still nice. Some parts rooms showing age. The hair dryer kept cutting out as it got hot it had to cool down before it would start again which was stressful haha. The dining area was squashed. The noise of the work going on began at 7am, and people noises from the closeness of other buildings. room next to lift which was a bit noisey. shower in ensuite a bit squeezy. Not much really. Would have preferred a credit card type key. Later check out would have been ideal. The fact that all the construction workers could see in to the room. There wasn't anything I didn't like. The apartment was looking a little old and not up to the regular standard of Quest apartments Australia wide. Parking costs. Guest should have a free parking spot, Rather getting charged $15 to park & the hotel. Outside noise - loud voices yelling - closed in feeling on balcony as there are no open views or spaces. Bit warm in the lift and the corridor outside room. Check out time, we felt like we had to rush to leave before 10 am. Noise from adjoining construction. We were looking out into a noisy building site. Neither of us slept well because the pillows were so lumpy. All five pillows in the apartment were the same...so bad I had to use a cushion off the sofa. That there was only 1 car park for a 2 bedroom apartment that had 4 people stay in it and no other car parks for the other couple to go to. lack of aircon in hallways and lifts.
