the staff was very friendly and helped us with everything everytime. We also wanted to leave our luggage there during our sailing trip, which was no problem at all. The rooms were very clean and tidy also quiet and good for our purpose. The best part was the pool & the spa - it was the best around and great value for money , the rooms although looking a bit dated were comfortable and roomy with great service and friendly staff.

Nice surroundings, lovely pool area, bar & dining. Friendly staff. Easy access to downtown Airlie. Plenty of room, the staff was nice n helped wit the air con. Me n my friends liked it a lot. Very dirty mould on our toilet roll infested with ants n bugs. Itched all night from the bed. Worst place I have ever stayed. Prob got 1 hours sleep. We cancelled our 2nd booking with them. Guy on front counter friendly. The whole facility is a bit older and the pool smelled a bit funny. But there was a huge pool and jacuzzi to use. It would have been good if it the bistro had a bit better variety on the menu as it was very limited ,but it's still a great place to stay and see the islands. Rooms need some tlc, mould on bathroom ceiling, curtains wouldn't close properly & beds need upgrading. Maintaence was a little issue but not a big prob (air con kept tripping). Ground could use some further maintenance (daughter cut foot on bottom of pool), more privacy required for rooms (double glass door felt like being in a fish bowl). A bit on the noisy side if you don't have children. the cups in the room had not been washed from the previous person. Loud up all night teen ages above us stomping around all night. Wrong style of room. Came in after hours and only had two beds in room for myself and three children. Managed to get hold of staff via security number and problem rectified. A better solution was given in the way of two adjoining rooms rather then the family room that had been booked. Staff however very apologetic and the two rooms a much better deal anyway for same price. Bar was closed. The resort name on the billboard out front is "clubcroc/hotelcroc" or something like that. We had booked online where the resort is called "clubcrocodile".bit confusing, took us a while to find the place because of the name not being exact. The resort was a bit old looking and could do with a refurb. All food had to be bought at the restaurant... But it didn't look very inviting. Room was on top floor a bit away from it all. Could not get a cocktail on good Friday even though we stayed there. We had to order food. The rooms are very dated and in need of repair. Lights were falling off ceiling, broken toilet roll holder. Very tired decor. Stair wells were dirty. No evening meal on a Saturday night apart from Bar Food, steak and salad or barbeque would have been good. Nothing was open when we arrived. The complex in general is showing its age and in need of some TLC. Decor a bit tired, no bath as was shown in pictures. The rooms need updating, curtains would not close properly so I had to clip them with a bull dog clip. No hair dryer in the room detailed, light bulbs not working, bunk beds need tightening or new ones. Second time I stayed there thought the last time we stayed was just an off time but definitely not. No hand towels or face washers. The a/c was too noisy to have on whilst sleeping which made the room stuffy. Party goers were able to party till 3 am in the morning and were not asked to be quiet. Will never stay there again. No restaurant, no bar only on thurs,fri and sat. and really not close to other amenities. Overall cleanliness & lack of maintenance. No exhaust fans or fly screens in bathroom.!! Very bad especially wen on the ground floor & have 2 shower with the window open.!. The beds in both rooms were absolutely terrible...Hard as rocks. Neither couple would stay again because of this. This is a very very tired property. Rooms are very dated and in desperate need of a refurbishment. No restaurant or bar facilities were available on a Thursady night. No staffed check in after 6.00pm, or check our before 8.00am. Noisy at night. Staff did not respond to guests that were still drinking at 3:30am outside rooms. Could put up with noise until midnight but a bit upset at the early morning crap. Unfortunately our room was very dirty and infested with ants. Not suitable for a young family. Have stayed with you over a number of years. The place is now looking very tired. Our TV stopped working effectively after 5 minutes. The bed was HARD. Potential to be so-o-o great but lacks love at the moment. No ability to have a cooked breakfast. I didnt like the noise that could be heard from the adjoining room.The air con was old and poorly positioned.You are only allowed to boil water for tea so any type of cooking is forbidden.The whole place is a bit rundown . The rest isn't special. Room full of ants! No meals and bar only open at certain times... No entertainment as there use to be!!! Use to be a local and brought people to stay and even they were disappointed. Was very, very tired, needs a makeover badly, I stayed here on my honeymoon 18 years ago, I was very disappointed withits condition on arrival this time. Not at Airlie beach as advertised, but Cannovale. I didn't realize the resort was run down and needing a face lift. I would not visit again. Booked for three nights but only stayed one. It was very clean but old. :) The advertising was very well written but very mis-leading!. The whole facsility was run down lack of maintanance. Resort very run down, Bar closed, gardens overgrown, snake slithering around the front door of our room. Will never stay there nor recommend them ever again. Extremely disappointed. See above. No Bar or Restaurant Broken Bed in room 95 and very uncomfortable Cockroaches in Tea/coffee holder Aircon was noisy and not working properly. Lack of staff when I had to report a loose ceiling fan. Leaking a/c condensor onto shelf in bedroom. Gaps in bathroom window thus unwanted insects in room. Smoking patrons below polluting upstairs patrons with second hand breathed smoke. No confirmation from anyone that ceiling fan had been attached securely ?.
