The location is great. Right by the water and in a 'real' part
of the island. Don't take any notice of reviews that say the
neighbourhood is unsafe. It is a working area and there are fishermen
with gear etc. It's real!!
Staff at the resort are very helpful and the atmosphere is relaxed. Good to have the pool, canoes and snorkelling gear available

It was only a 5-10min walk to the Seven Eleven, and Mike’s Hulu Chicken truck and a grocery store where you can also buy alochol and foods. The room had hot plates and a microwave and kitchen. So that was more than fine.
The scenery was just magnificent. The water and beautiful rich green mountains with mist. I loved the fact that it was so far away from Wakiki. (Too busy for me).
My studio room was enormous and my bed was very comfortable.

We were celebrating my father's 70 birthday and the whole family was at the Marriott (10 of us). We had 4 rooms between us at the Marriott. The rooms were so big spacious and partial ocean view was amazing. We had missed our flight leaving Hawaii and needed to check back in (we needed 4 rooms) and the staff (Tania) was amazing extremely helpful

We only had one problem-we did ask them to havea
a look at our fridge as it froze all our contents and it took them a week and a half of our stay to do anything about it. maybe they didn't understand us ,we had to tell them like 4 times until they replaced it.
Everything in fridge had to be thrown out.

Location was perfect. View was superb. Pool, restaurants, cafes, rooms are all fantastic. Easy access to beach right in front of hotel as well as own private beach area. Excellent poolside bar. Hotel has own bus area to the side where most of the tour buses pick up. Would highly recommend it. -

It is a historical landmark. Conveniently located. outstanding beach and view.Great for shopping
I particularly love the rocking chair on the balcony and the stores , Martin Mcarthure, Vivien Westwood. -
The hotel was beautiful, loved the history and the rocking chairs on the porch.

The hotel is extremely beautiful, in an amazing location, perfectly maintained, and the service was impeccable. A friend had recommended staying in the original building. As an appreciator of history and architecture; that was a good call. It's fun people watching and there is great Asian food in the area. -

We only stayed one night but what a night it was, a memory to last a lifetime . Halekulani was indeed a tranquil oasis in the midst of the Waikiki bustle. True to its name of "our house befitting heaven" -
The staff was superb. The food was excellent and the setting tranquil,

Location was great - very picturesque and away from the city centre

When we arrived at approx 7.30am and found out check in wasn't until 3pm, we couldn't have been treated better, they told us to head up to the full buffet breakfast and to enjoy all of it on them, they gave us pool towels so we could use the pool or head to waikiki beach, they looked after all our luggage,and although we had to wait to almost 3pm

We stayed in an ocean view suite on the 21st floor. We actually had a view of the ocean and the mountains from our room which was really nice. The rooms were updated and very clean and the staff was very helpful. The location was convenient to everything!!! We were a block away from the beach, and the Beach walk shopping area was right downstairs from the hotel. There was plenty to do in the area and we did not need a car. I would definitely stay here again.

The Hilton Hawaii is a very grand and posh hotel. So obviously expensive. Facilities are very good. 8 swimming pools. Eateries. Shopping mall. Grocery etc. easily available. Beach is poor and stony. You can stay in the hotel and enjoy. Staff is helpful but because they have over 3,000 rooms, there is a huge crowd during check-in and check-out whic

Got upgraded to a king bed corner room top floor of an ocean front
tower. Staff were all excellent and friendly. Service was typically
American with high standards. All very approachable. The rooms and
resort we're clean and tidy all the time. Very child friendly, with
movie nights for the kids and plenty of water activities and also a kids
club for the younger ones. Best hotel beachfront location on Waikiki. We
travelled there in October. Plenty of takeaway options on site opening

We found every employee at the resort to be friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. The area of Ko Olina was perfect for us. Golf, restaurants and beach activities all within walking distance or a free shuttle ride away. Downtown Honolulu traffic was a nightmare and we were so pleased we did not have to deal with that mess on a daily basis.

The service was awesome from valet to front desk, waitresses,bartender,
housekeeping, you name it! I really enjoyed the bed it was so

Absolutely loved this hotel! Fantastic value for money. Such lovely staff. Perfect location to explore Waikiki. Perfectly clean rooms/bathroom. Great cocktails around the pool. Lovely modern, clean design. We will definitely be back! -

The hotel is so conveniently located. The staff were all very friendly and I love that it's just a few steps to the beach. My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much. -
Hospitality room available for people leaving on late flights gave you a
chance to freshen up before doing an all night flight
