  This Inn was so quaint. We stayed in a Queen room, and it was adequate. I loved how they made the bed, putting a top sheet over the comforter, so one didn't have to feel funny about laying on the bed. The people working there were so friendly and helpful. And we will return - Nice cottage in Jamestown, a little kitschy but with great amenities : flat screen, fine bathroom, quite comfy bed and even a real kitchen with fridge, sink, etc. Clean. Frugal breakfast (panecakes, juices, bread toast, hot beverages) included. Good welcome.

  I loved the staff. They were amazing. The food from your restaurant was AWESOME! The history of the hotel was interesting and the soaking tub was perfect after a long day. - We had excellent service (especially from Laura Lee) from the time we checked in, ate lunch, visited in the bar, until the time we check out. We will definitely return.

The room was very basic, but since it was just for myself, it was just fine - old and rustic with plenty of gold rush character, but clean and practical.   We had a large comfortable room near the swimming pool. The huge bed was very comfortable and we slept well. A fridge, microwave and coffee maker were useful. Sonora is a great small town but still has many amentities so we were able to find a good restaurant to eat at after a long day in Yosemite. Sonora Inn is quiet, comfortable and clean, which is all we needed. I would stay here again if in the area. Nice hotel staff and they offer a small hot breakfast.

  The staff at the Gold Lodge were the greatest. Always cheerful and helpful. Even potential renovation detractions were handled so the customer was never inconvenienced.
