The Tilal Liwa is a lovely hotel in the heart of the desert.

It is a sprawling hotel with lots of walking required to get to the restaurant and main desk.

The pool and gardens are delightful as is the desert vista. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was a most relaxing place to stay...

The hotel is in a rather built up part of the desert, surrounded by power lines, roads and assorted buildings. Tours couldn't be arranged at short notice - it would be good if it was made clear at the time of booking that this is the case. Breakfast was expensive and not overly impressive!

Staff , Reception Manager was Amassing he fulfilled all my requests without delay and was very friendly this goes for all the staff as well even the Sysha guy was so polite with me. Location is amazing . value for money .

I've arrived in EID time which was very hectic period all the rooms were booked and hotel was a bit crowded thus the restaurant was a Jungle. Belly dancing was organized in front of the dinner tables which I really didn't like . Food prices was over rated and I had to pay for 2 buffet at the same time since I choose sea buffet (which was just Sea food no salads no nothing else) and the normal buffet which included the salads . food quality was great but the variety isn't.

I did like the location , the atmospheres was like flat calm and full of peace . The view of desert and the swimming pool were so beautiful. The food was amazing at their restaurant.. The staff are so helpful ..

I didn't like the distance to the hotel , I think it is a bit far away .

The hotel is located literally in the middle of the sand desert, trough it had a proper road to access it, and good services were offered. Live music was offered - two Russian ladies were singing a very wide repertoire.

Some of the food labels were not complete at dinner buffet.

Staff were really helpful, friendly and professional. Robin was particularly notable for his courtesy and professionalism. Rooms were a good size. Breakfast chef did a great mixed omelette with chillies!!

Minibar was empty and we had to order through room service.... sorry, If I want a soft drink then now is soon enough! Dinner buffet was adequate, could be better, the main courses didn't really tempt me...

The hotel should organize other activities besides camel riding. perhaps a jacuzzi would be nice as well.

Location in the middle of the desert, Excellent and friendly staff particularly from reception desk and restaurant and driver for Dune bashing. Choice of restaurant and food Room and hotel style

Nothing... just suggestions and improvements Delay to get the room on time, but may be not the responsibility of the hotel. More activities should be proposed for longer stays

the pool and house were very nice building and the garden fhe most beautiful i have seen so pretty flowers threes and lawn the food very good

Dirt from the pigeons outside the terasse to the gardenroom,We saw staff cleaning but not after the pigeons.Not good for the children because my son and family was going there some time

Impressive facilities, nice location, great architecture, good entertainment and activities, delicious food, most of the staff especially at the restaurant were very helpful and attentive. This is a wonderful weekend break for Abu Dhabi and Dubai residents.

Please heat the pool in the winter! Some staff - pool/gym - not so friendly.

Kids play area. Mussie accommodating our change in the days we stayed due to passport id issues - we had to turn around to go back and collect passports. Breakfast was great

The room service and cleaning were really good and on time. I also liked the decorations, traditional.

sound is easily transferred, no sense of privacy. Also, the long road filled with pumps on the way to the town centre was annouying.

Location is not that great. The desert is very plain and is not really the best in UAE. Pool is quite small and can be very crowded during the day if the hotel is full. Also pool service is very slow

Quiet, clean, flexible.

Abu Dhabi emirate is known for having low standards for service. Service (here like everywhere), is very polite, but unfortunately are not trained well, and seem confused at simple requests.

The rooms are fine.

Front desk is not warm and welcoming. There is no where to sit while check in or check out if it is taking time. Elevators were being shampooed which made a lot of noise, and were not working, we had to use the exits. TV and WiFi was not working during my stay. On complaint about very long time taken for check out (almost 40 minutes), the General Manager was very rude and arrogant.
