  The Hotel was warm and comfortable. It was clean and the staff friendly a good location to the train station and centre of the town. The room was spacious and modern The only thing that I thought was wrong was that the shower base started to fill up and wouldn't drain away I stopped the shower and waited for it to drain away but I think there is a... lo que la gente dice » n issue with the drains. I reported it and the staff were very apologetic - I noted the care and attention to detail in the presentation of my room. Well done whoever was responsible it really shows you a level of professionalism rarely seen. Breakfast and evening staff were very welcoming and pleasant, again well done all. This experience has really reinforced my already high regard for the Ibis hotel group.

  What a lovely hotel Archways Lodge is - friendly staff, spot on cleanliness, the most comfy bed I have ever slept in, kitchenette facilites a bonus! I adored the decoration and the personal touches. I have never stayed in a hotel and found funny little figurines and air freshner in the bathroom! It was almost home from home which tempts me to say ... lo que la gente dice » that I would have appreciated a lounge area to experience and enjoy even more this tastefully furbished building. - Very warm welcome by the two members of staff - one of them went the extra mile and printed a map and directions to a wedding venue in the middle of nowhere! Room was ready by noon which allowed us to change for wedding. Whilst no restaurant there was a very useful "kitchen in a cupboard" with some nice touches - coffee, orange juice, crisps, microwave, wine glasses etc. Plenty of parking. The "chambermaid" was a hoot!

  Very clean, nice spacious rooms and very comfortable bed. Good shower and fast running bath. All you need for a stay and very good transport links so easy to get to other places. Beefeater restaurant for food is across the other side of the car park and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food.
