Close to tube for sightseeing in London - 40min ride from Hatton Cross to Green Park. - Very convenient for Terminal 5 just a few minutes walk to the bus which takes you to the door of the hotel.about 10 mins or less, good welcome easy to find. In a pretty village (before someone plonked an airport next door) pubs and couple of shops. Early morning local high class taxi firm took me to airport in 6 minutes for reasonable cost. Plus you can smoke just outside your room if you book a terrace! Frankly I would charge more but don't tell them that.

  My wife and I stayed at the Runnymede on Thames as part of her birthday weekend. I found the staff very willing and able to help with little preparations I needed or to help with information etc in advance of the stay. They were so helpful. The food was beautiful. There was live music being played by a guitarist in the lounge it was so relaxing. The choice of an indoor or outdoor pool, again the staff there were so helpful and accommodating nothing was a problem. This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in and I have stayed in many hotels all over the world.

The room was nice the bed comfortable with a tv, the bathroom was lovely and clean, they offered us food for breakfast.
