  Staff - From when we first arrived the staff were so friending and attentive. The young guy behind the bar checked us in, booked a table in the restuarant, got us a round of drinks - awesome service. Our waitress was great she was so friendly and even stopped in to say bye on her way out. After dinner we chilled in the cosy pub. - Friendly helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble. Decor excellent, room comfortable, ambience welcoming and obviously popular. Evening menu was excellent and breakfast was good. We would recommend the Dog and Doublet and if travelling in that area we would hope to stay there again. Thank you to all the staff and Nathan but thankyou to Natalie in particular. She made us most welcome and paid attention to small details.

  The room was lovely, very good value for money. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The leisure pool was an added bonus. Breakfast was good,too. The evening dinner was good but a little on the expensive side. - It was convenient for use and very close to where we were going. We had a late night and the night staff on duty were great.

  Great location just off the M6 with a choice of 3 places to eat with walking distance of the hotel. Nice free parking right on site and a short period of free WiFi enough just to check e-mails. Nice clean well equipped room with good quality bed and bedding. I just need a coffee to get going , toast kept coming and even given a doggy bag to take some muffins for journey home.
