My original room booking was very nice and clean but I would have liked something a bit more special. I spoke to the duty manager and changed to a suite for my second night stay. ... lo que la gente dice » t with -nothing was too much trouble for the staff - When we arrived, we were informed that the hotel had no confirmation of our booking, however, the receptionist upgraded us to a Family suite, which I thought was very helpful. We also made use of the swimming pool, which my daughter thoroughly enjoyed.

the friendliness of the manager Debbie, she made me feel comfortable and welcome even though my arrival was delayed and i had to check in after their nightime deadline. I was very tired after my long train journey and the room was lovely, warm, cosy, clean with tea tray and nice toiletries. All was just what I needed. The bereakfast room was good

The guesthouse was so easy to find using the Hospital as a landmark. Debbie,the landlady, was very easy to talk to and knowledgeable about the area. Our bedroom,room 2, was a decent size and had a very comfy bed. No problems with noise at all, even though traffic went by. Excellent.

When we first arrived the pub was very busy with people eating and
drinking. A warm welcome from one of the men after we had been out round
the square. The room was lovely and clean and modern. We had booked to
go to a family party and calling off back at the pub for another drink
before bedtime to find the pub still busy was a pleasant surprise.

Excellent location, food, staff - my package delivered was ready in my room on arrival - it was the last night briefing before Gutless Kayaking 2013 started in Skipton on Saturday 7th ..perfect evening, nice breakfast, good location and everyone very helpful - you came recommended.

Relaxed atmosphere, great breakfast,
room was clean with very good facilities, huge shower lots of tea and coffee etc, bed was comfy. Furniture was old fashioned but good quality and that was totally in keeping with the building, however the decor was modern, great mix and it worked!
Owner was very helpful giving loads of info about the surrounding area and things to do, great stay thanks.
