  I had a very enjoyable stay at the Barcelo Basingstoke Country Hotel. I found all of the staff very friendly and happy to help. The food was excellent and there was a varied choice on the menu.   we had a meal on the Friday we arrived Thai curry was excellent expertly prepared. The staff were helpful and friendly . We would recommend Chilli pad as a comfortable affordable base . - Great staff, very friendly and helpful, Great Thai food, breakfast could be better. Very comfortable bed.
