This place was amazing! The room was beautiful and had an awesome
view!!!! They even give you chocolates and have a nice sitting room
where you can mingle with the other guest. You can see the horse
trollies right out front and there is a stop to get on it right there
also. Had an amazing breakfast! They also held our luggage after we
checked out, since our flight wasn't till late in the day we wanted
to explore but didn't know what to do with the luggage. Next time we
come we will definitely s

Great location (within walking distance of Douglas and all its attractions). Very clean and comfortable room (albeit quite basic) with kingsize bed - unusual for a Guest House (where one would expect a double bed only). Extraordinarily friendly and extremely helpful team of staff (we left early and in place of breakfast they made us lovely sandwiches to eat at a more 'sensible' hour). All reviews mention the famous carpet on the stairs, but my room was clean, roomy and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the meals in the bar were fine, and the location is excellent, opposite the castle, next to a bus stop and convenience store, and an easy walk to the railway station. -

Food was excellent including the 2 restaurants attached to the hotel. All the staff were friendly and very helpful which gives the whole place a happy atmosphere. Lovely touch also of being able to have fresh milk for your tea and coffee in the room and bottled water too.

2 minutes walk to main supermarket and a mount walk to co-op newsagent, fish & chips, Chinese take away. Great venue for a family trip. -
