  Located in a lovely valley with beautiful gardens. The catering options were second to none - breakfast exceptional; dinner and bar snacks excelent value. Could not fault the staff, who were friendly and helpful. The room and bed were very comfortable and well appointed. We would definately not stay anywhere else on Guernsey, the whole ambience of the hotel was so relaxin - The hotel is in a truly stunning setting, looking out over a wooded gully, to the sea. Service was good, as was the food at both restaurants - it's well worth a trip to the Rock Garden for a few cocktails, too! Possibly the best hotel we've stayed at in Guernsey. Potential bookers should note that this is NOT in St Peter Port town but a rural location in the parish.

The hotel was correct value for money and I would stay there again. I usually stay in the centre of St Peter Port but in future I will enjoy a quieter location using taxi and/or my legs!

  Location and breakfast. We didn't use the pool because of the weather, but it looks to be good place to laze around on a hot day. - The very friendly and helpful staff. The stay was for our honeymoon and the hotel made us most welcome

  We were very impressed with the friendliness of all the staff, especially Donna the manageress who was extremely helpful all the time. We liked the cleanliness and the fact that the towels and drink making facilities were renewed every day. If we go back to Guernsey this will definitely be our first choice to stay. - To be honest there was nothing we didn't like.We loved our room (27).The beds were very comfortable,the bedding and towels clean and fresh.David,Carla,Alex and Philippa were superb and looked after us really well and we let them know this.Thanks too to the kitchen staff whose meals we enjoyed each evening.We also enjoyed the entertainment whilst we were there. The staff are accommodating, friendly and very knowledgable. Though not the most modern of hotels, the price is fantastic and we would definitely come back for a cheap yet lovely weekend getaway.

  Abbey Court Hotel was perfect for our needs. We stayed in the family room, which has the children's room separate from the parents', separated by 2 doors, so there is privacy whilst still easy access to the children, and they are within hearing distance. The rooms are small but with enough space to move around. W - The wife of the owner of the hotel was one of the nicest people I have ever met. She was so kind and made me a sandwich in the middle of the day when the kitchen was obviously not open. She knew I was having a horrible day and was so sweet, purely out of the graciousness of her own heart. What a lovely hotel and staff. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and personal.

The room itself was spacious enough but the bathroom was tiny. There was an iron and iron board in the room, which was a big +. Excellent breakfast. The location is a bit inconvenient. Not in walking distance from the town and there really is no restaurants (except hotels own) in waking distance. However bus 81 stops next to the hotel.
