The room was smart and tidy and nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was nicely laid out and you got choice of cooked breakfast as well., which was very tasty. The location was only 2 mins walk from the old golf course and within walking distance to the town centre. Jackie and Norman were very friendly and amenable.

We had a small but comfortable room which faced on the street, though we had no street noise and slept undisturbed. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was very good. We had a car, but we could easily have walked to downtown St Andrews in about 10 minutes. -

The atmosphere was just so cosy and comfortable especially for a pre christmas break. The Staff were so accommodating and hospitable. We especially liked the fact we could wander down for breakfast when we were ready as the pub didn't open till 1230. The breakfast was really delicious and we also enjoyed our evening meal the first night.

Evelyn the owner was very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size, it was clean and comfortable, somewhere you could relax after a long day sightseeing. The garden was furnished with seats for the guests and there was also a guest lounge. The continental breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice and Evelyn was happy to provide more should you require it. I would certainly visit again and recommend this hotel to friends.

Very friendly couple and big clean rooms. Propietors offer a taxi service into St Andrews which is about a 5 min drive which is good. We stayed here for a wedding at kinkell byre, only about 5 mins down the road. So peaceful and quiet. You could definately relax here, the only thing you hear is chickens n ducks. Its lovely!! Very comfortable, clean and new accommodations less than a 5 minute drive from the center of St Andrews. The property is a newly renovated farmhouse located on a quiet road among the fields just outside of St A. Wonderful hospitality! Our hosts helped make our trip very enjoyable!

The staff were excellent, particularly with my 93 yr old mother whom I
take away as often as I can from her sheltered accommodation. Finding a
place that suits her is not at all easy. The Waterfront was ideal, even
although the stairs posed a bit of a challenge. The next time, I will
ask for her to have a room on the ground floor if that is possible.
The food was very good and more than plentiful. There would be little chance of malnutrition.

nights while visiting St. Andrews on a 2 week European holiday. We
visited 3 countries, 5 different cities, and St. Andrews and West Park
House was our favorite spot of all! The room we stayed in was
beautifully decorated, ideal location to whatever we wanted and Joseph
was the most helpful gentleman we encountered our entire trip. We
aren't even home yet and already planning our next trip to Edinburgh
to stay in West Park House

Hotel staff were very friendly and the breakfast they served was very good. It's a cosy bed and breakfast with shared washroom and shared shower. It has great potential to be a very good Hotel with some money for refurbishing. Would stay again and hope others do to make this happen for them.
