Seascape is really comfortable and a VERY relaxing place to stay. Matt makes you feel very welcome and we certainly felt totally at home. He also cooks a mean breakfast too! The location is great, a stones throw away from a lovely beach and the view across the Forth of Firth is amazing. Lower Largo is also a great wee place to stay with a good real ale pub and a couple of nice places to eat. We will be back, oh yes we will be back!

The staff were excellent couldn't be more helpfull. Very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great with varied options, the owner feeds the birds and we were able to watch them while having breakfast and were lucky enough to see a woodpecker.

although i only had approx 8hrs there it was certainly one of the best places i have stayed in a long time ,its welcoming,warm , you feel like comfortable , rooms are good in every way the owners are brilliant food is good though had to miss some of my breakfast due to change of circumstances ,i would recomend pitreavie guest house to others ,i will certainly go back again for more than just one night

It was a very nice stay, beautiful house, very nice room, quiet suroundings. Lovely hosts, Una and Hamish were very helpful and extremly pleasant (I know, lots of adjectives here, but this is how we felt), we've got a lot of useful information about the places we went to visit. Excellent breakfast (I particularly loved the scrambled eggs with salmon). We would definetly like to come back.

Gorgeous setting with lovely, hospitable hosts. The inn is very warm, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was delicious and a perfect time to interact with other interesting quests. It is a nice 15 minute drive to St. Andrews. We stay in B and B's frequently, and Kirkland Barns is among the best we have experienced! -

Kilconquhar Castle is an absolute treasure of a location. From the swimming pool to the horse stables, to the sprawling grounds, hedge maze, and wood paneled high ceiling dining in the Lindsay Room, you will feel like Scottish royalty. The staff was also very customer service oriented, helpful, and friendly. Do not miss out on their food, either!

First of all, the location at Inverkeithing (20-30 mins) from Edinburgh waverly station by train maybe not very attractive for some, but for me I love it. This village is so quite and pretty, every body so friendly even at strangers like me. I got there by chance, but I'm grateful for it.

It's a great family run hotel in a very convenient location for a lot of places. The town center is only a 5 minute walk away as well. Word of warning though. People with disabilities may find the walk daunting as it's down a steep road, and up again the other side. It's easy to find as well and space to leave your car secure.
