My father was the landlord of this pub when it was the three tuns. That was about 45 years ago. I wanted to see if it had changed much and although the bar has the accomodation is the same but improved with the addition of bathrooms etc. The staff were very kind and helpfull and the food was excellent -

This is a really friendly guest house with nicely decorated and
spotlessly clean rooms. You get a lot more for your money than you would
staying in one of the large budget hotel chains, a nice cooked breakfast
and fast free internet being two worth mentioning. It's a good base
if you want to see some of the sights of Cornwall with St Ives and St
Michael's mount only being about 30 minutes away. I've stayed
here previously and if I'm visiting Cornwall again would stay again.

Our friendly hosts provided clean, well equipped accommodations. From this location you can walk to restaurants, the harbour, town centre and National Maritime Museum. Pendennis Castle is a 5 minute drive away. The breakfast, provided for an additional charge, was excellent.
