The apartment was of a very high standard - beautifully decorated, fully equipped with everything needed for my week stay, great location, very central. Ideal for 5 days of business and 2 days of pleasure.
Very good communication from thistle staff - a query was responded to very quickly and there were a number of emails to ensure everything was going ok during my stay, which was great.
Very good value for money and made my stay in Edinburgh very enjoyable.

The apartment is very spacious and well equipped.
Underneath the apartment complex is a Sainsbury supermarket were you can get almost everything you need. There are also a Starbucks and Peter's Yard where you can sit down and relax with a cup of good coffee.
Location is at walking distance from the city center and located at the edge of the Meadows.

We stayed at Simpson loan 24/7! Fantastic apartment! We loved it so much, that we booked with VIP apartments for our next stay again! Marc is the best, he really takes care of the guests. I am sure if there is any issue, he would be there to help out! Very good service!!! I loved the fact that everything was brand new, very clean and it also
had a kitchenette (toaster, microwave, dishwasher etc). It is located in
a nice area (new residential developments, offices) and just across the
road is University of Edinburgh. It is 20 minutes away from the main
tourist attractions (the Castle, Whiskey Museum, Princess Street). There
is a parking near by (literally the building close to the hotel). The

although quite small. The parking is very convenient with a connecting
lift (once you have the key) although it is quite expensive. There are

The apartment was lovely - felt right at home, however the parking was
very expensive but we manage to find cheap parking away from the
apartment not too far away, about 10 minutes walk. Flor was nice and
text as soon as we arrived to ask how everything was going.

The bed was so comfortable and duvet and pillows gorgeous - a real treat. Everything we wanted to feel home from home with a modern edge. Will definitely be staying again but will book for longer next time!

The hotel was very comfortable and welcoming. Soft leather chairs and twinkly lights. The room was excellent with quality fittings and nights sleep. No noise at all through to the room and it was Christmas party time.
Continental breakfast was really wholesome so much so that my husband didn't miss his usual cooked breakfast.

The hotel is an excellent example of how to restore an old building (with history) into a very comfortable & friendly place to stay. We found the staff to be very helpful & welcoming. The dinning experience in the restaurant could not be faulted.
I liked the idea of the room names (but would have liked the names to have some relation to the buildings history).
