  Stuart and Sarah made me feel so welcome from the start. They could not have been more helpful, especially with sorting out a menu for my guests, some of whom had food allergies. The room was warm, very comfortable with lots of cosy touches, and ample tea and coffee making facilities. Wifi had good signal in public areas.

  Everything about The Anchorage was superb from the first greeting. We found everything to be spotlessly clean and comfortable. The care and attention to even the smallest detail was exceptional and Janice went out of her way to provide every possible thing that you could need. The breakfasts are delicious especially Marilyn's porridge & Archie is a wealth of knowledge on the surrounding area. Location is excellent, easy to find, ample street parking & most important very quiet allowing a good nights sleep. We would have no hesitation in recommending Allan bank.
