Clean and comfortable. Pleasant decor and furnishing. Helpful friendly and courteous proprietor. I stay in a lot of hotels and you learn that the first thing to do is check everything works, if there is to be the slightest chance of anything being fixed before you leave. So when a light bulb blew I was delightfully surprised to find it instantly replaced without my even reporting it.

The hotel was nice and modern and we received a good welcome on our arrival. Good parking facilities and the bar was also a nice surprise! We walked into the town centre during the day (approx. 10 mins), however, a taxi was necessary during the evening. excellent hotel will recommend to friends. We thought the service was excellent the rooms were great with a lot of attention to detail. I was placed in the Portland Street hotel which was conveniently positioned in the centre of Cheltenham. Accommodation was all I required - ensuite, comfy bed, tea, proper mug, biscuits (big plus!), and TV. Was also allowed to take my cycle into bedroom for my own piece of mind.

our needs. They provided information on various outings were always
willing to visit and fill us in on background for the area. Perfect
location to use as a homebase for travel around the Cotswolds as well as

I had the smallest room. It was great, with it's own outside terrace and enough space inside for a one night stay.
The owner Sue was more than welcoming and friendly. The breakfast room and lounge is period and of high quality and furnishings. The breakfast was delicious with friendly and attentive service.

The whole experience is the best I have had! From very friendly helpful
staff to attention to detail in the room, there is nothing that
hasn't been thought of. With so much history and luxury within The
Bradley you still get a very comfortable warm feel around the building
which can be lost in some establishments. Food and location are also
great and cannot wait for an excuse to return, I haven't stopped
talking about it since I've been home!! Thank you Sue and Chris for

interesting house full of quirky antiques with a cosy feel, such as great quality bed linen. Fantastic couple, who make you feel that nothing is too much trouble for them, looking up information on the internet in response to our questions about Cheltenham. Also I agree with other comments that the poached eggs on toast for breakfast are delicious. Only a short 7 min walk to 'The Brewery' shopping centre and town centre so very accessible.

My wife reckoned that Hilden House was the best B & B she's ever stayed in. For me, (the husband) well how could I disagree? The proprietors - An Irishman and a Kiwi - made all the difference between HH being just an ordinary B & B and one of excellence. HH was the latter of course in our book, and without a doubt we'll sign up here again

Friendly welcome. Everywhere was spotless.I liked the large flat screen T.V. which was gleaming! The fact that gluten free toast was offered was a nice touch. The complimentary toiletries were very welcome as was the thoughtful addition of a pack of tissues rather than an open box. I felt very welcome and as a solo traveller would stay again.
