This is a small, family business with the virtues and vices that go with
it. Fine location--quieter than those in town, moderate walk to the
excellent beach and finest ruins in the area . Thus better situated than
much fancier hotels on the hill, the only other quiet locals. Small
balcony very nice, and necessary mosquito net provided. Helpful
directions and loan of books.

Very simple but pretty and comfortable hotel at a great price with a
good breakfast included. Located in the beautiful village center of
Gelemis; one of my favorite towns in Turkey. Very near the hotel are
lots of good restaurants, flowers and trees, shops and friendly people.
Small parking lot at the hotel location. Plenty of hot water for shower
and good a/C. A great place to stay for enjoying one of the best
beaches in Turkey and the ancient site of Patara.

Really funny some of the negative references.
Nothing is true, at least not when we were there. There is of course hot water in the shower, but no chicken and no guy in undies (and if so: so what??)
Instead great place, clean, refurbished, and they care a lot to know what to improve. For example, during one of the random conversations, they asked

A really helpful and friendly family who really cared about the guests staying. They had a real pride about their pension. Their breakfasts were the most generous and best we came across in our 3 week trip which included some more expensive hotel accommodation. -
