We stayed at the Port for 4 days during the Swedenrock festival. It
worked out perfectly. There is a grocery store directly across the
street and just a 5 minute walk to the port. From the port there is a
fantastic walking trail along the coast. The room was clean and
comfortable and breakfast was excellent. They have ample parking
which is free.

The Port Hotel is located on the northern edge of central Karlshamn. Road signs led us right there without difficulty. The hotel building has been very nicely renovated. Our room was fresh and clean, with simple, modern decor. Staff were very responsive and the breakfast offerings were everything we would have wished for.

The a hotel is a no frills hotel that was comfortable and clean. We arrived after hours and had no trouble getting in and finding our room. It is well located and our 4th floor room had a view of the sea. Breakfast was adequate. There was a lift to our room. The hotel has 3 parking places that must be reserved in advance. -

It is a hotel with kind of a "home spirit', once you get there you don't want to leave it. Small but nice things like a coffie room or a small indoor playground for kids makes it almost a home - Just about everything was a very nice surprise to us. We were given a huge 3 persons room on the top floor with a sauna and a mini kitchen adjacent ot the room for our peronal use. We had the entire top floor to ourselves. The staff was friendly - no problems with English - and the breakfast buffet was great, There was coffe/tea and cookies throughout the day for alol guests plus free wi fi.
