Our stay at Hostel Goya and as such in Barcelona was wonderful experience. Hostel staffs were helpful, warm and welcoming. When we arrived at the hostel Ms.Path explained in details where to go, what to see and what to eat. We followed her recommendations and our Barcelona vacation was a memorable experience that we would cherish this life time. The premise and the room were kept spick and span condition. Hostel fontanela is great-location is few minutes from city center and
metro station and it is not so loud like in la Rambla.It is very clean

Placa Catalyna where the buses from the airport arrive and metro station
as well as trains out of Barca. Our second stay we were given room 202
which is a double with on-suite bath and a balcony onto main street.
People watching was great fun. Lots of flags hanging from balcony.

Abraham day staff was so lovely, very jolly and helpful. It is a bit
dilapidated but I didn't mind that. If you want uber posh it's
not for you. -
The staff was generally friendly/helpful. The Day staff are more
english helpful/friendly, the night staff generally doesn't know
anything other than Spanish & a lot stricter, but was the same at
all my friends hostels anyways. Good price & great location. Was
very quiet as needed too.

That place so close to Casa Batillo, my room was so small, but
comfortable and clean. Service was super polite, speak many languages, I
can speak with them english, spanish and even russian. Big thanks to a
girl in reception Katya. Super polite, super kind, told me where to go,
what to visit at that time and really is so so nice person. I can
imagine who is the boss of hotel if they have such a wonderful staff!

The hotel appears to be residential apartments that have just been renovated to a very high grade 'Art Deco' standard. The room was large with a very high ceiling and nicely appointed and the bathroom good and brightly tiled. Our room had large old doors that opened to a balcony on the street....very nice. The staff were exceptionally helpful with suggestions about sightseeing and restaurants , and helped greatly in receiving/printing and sending some unexpected business e-mails for me. Brea

Lovely architecture, marble winding staircase and old wooden doors, clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff. TV on the wall. Lots of information available about Barcelona. Shared bathroom wasn't such an issue for a short stay (1 night).
