I would describe the furniture in the room as functional, it is certainly better than basic it is very clean with a small balcony overlooking the chalets and camper vans below and more importantly a wonderful view of the fjord. Location is amazing, we were in one fjordview room just in front of the fjord. However there is a camping in front of the hotel, so I guess it's better to stay at higher floors in order to enjoy the fjord even more (we were at 2nd floor out of 6). Breakfast is a complete buffet, you can dind everything you want, and the woman at te reception is very kind and helpful. Prices are not expensive taking into account the high prices in Norway, and it's worrh paying a little more for the room with fjo

WE loved the reception we received from Thomas - he was sincerely helpful, cheerful and friendly. We asked for an extra heater and he brought it over almost immediately. He offered information and helpful suggestions eg when we asked about fishing and was available at all times. We also loved the view from the cabin - fabulous! -

Facilities are also good, free parking, wifi works well, coin laundry. You can rent motor boats or kayaks to explore the breathtaking fjord. Highly recommended !

The location was ideal. We had a picture perfect view of one of the most beautiful sights in the world. We watched the sun go down over the fjord in utter amazement that we are experiencing such beauty. The hotel was VERY relaxing and pleasurable. -

What a wonderful place. Gorgeous views, amazing room (with fjord view), great breakfast, all was excelent. One of my best experiences in Hotels in Norway. It is best if you have a car to get all the way up there, though. Or maybe catch the bus? Don't know.
I even got to experience snow in the afternoon and clear sunny day the next morning.

One of our room (no. 313) does commend a spectacular view of Geirangerfjord and is really spacious, though the bathroom is tiny. Overall, it's pricy, but the stunning view might be priceless, so it's worthwhile to stay overnight.
