The hotel is quite elegant, yet utterly informal, located roughly where the older part of town blends with the newer, more affluent area - in a residential street where life goes on around you, but not intrusively so. It is well used by the local community who are first to breakfast shortly after 7am (before the sleepy foreigners around 8.30); and then again congregating in the evening and/or when there is a decent match on the telly .. or taking coffee with friends.

We found one of the reception-foyer staff so helpful. He carried our four cases to our 3 separate rooms; helped me park and exit my large car in the small hotel garage;advised us on shopping and places of interest;arranged a surprise taxi tour of Tangier and surrounding area, all without holding his hand out for payment. Mustafa at front desk was incredibly helpful overall, especially re: my
luggage which didn't arrive on my flight into Casblanca before we
took train to Tangier. He helped suggest where to buy some clothes,
helped with phone calls to the airlines and shared other tips to help.
The location made our daily walks to the Medina and other highlights
easy, and the room was very comfortable at a great price.

The hotel had soundproofed rooms, which are necessary in Tangier. Stayed in another hotel in the same area and there was a lot of noise, incredibly tiring.

The regular Ibis quality. The staff were friendly and helpful. Good price, enough room size, great location and a large parking area. Very comfortable bed and clean room. İf you are planning whole trip on the way like us, the wifi in Ibis's are going to be your best friend :)

Our favourite hotel, revisiting after a break of approx. 12 years. It belongs to another age (a living museum). Has none of the modern expectations of lifts to the various floors, swimming pool, piped music etc. Belongs to its wonderful setting at the edge of the Tangier Medina with a wonderful view of the Bay of Tangier and the port. This hotel was absolutely beautiful! It is a wonderful deal. You can
tell that previously the hotel was much grander, but it is still a
great place. The rooms were clean, the staff was very helpful and
could speak many languages, and the breakfast was in a beautiful room
with an outstanding view overlooking the sea! I would definitely stay
here again.

Personal amable y servicial. Zonas comunes cómodas y tranquilas, bien ambientadas.
Piscinas con socorrista y zona de mesas y tumbonas, con bar.
Ubicación junto a un centro comercial, pero alejada del agobio de la zona turística.
Para ir al centro de la ciudad es preciso utilizar taxi, pero es divertido negociar el precio. -
