  This is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at in Europe. Loved the beautiful room, big comfortable bed with superb bedding. We had room service for dinner, it was very good and delivered quite fast. I really liked the floor lighting around the toilet room at night, very good idea. Good parking and very pleasant and informative staff on arrival who showed us our room. Lovely room. We did not use the swimming pool or spa but I expect that it would have been very good. A top class restaurant is within the hotel but we had a drink at the beautiful bar instead. It was overlooking the beach and very chic. Drinks expensive but you do get what you pay for there.   This old house seemed very welcoming with none of the anonymity of a hotel. It is very much someone`s much loved home. The bedroom had a supremely comfortable bed and was very clean and spacious. The garden was great for relaxing in. The owner spoke English, was helpful and directed us to some good restaurants for dinner. The owner was very helpful in suggesting a nearby restaurant which was an excellent recommendation. We had to depart at 7am for the ferry and they kindly prepared a tray with fresh fruit, pastries, tea, coffee and milk. Highly recommended and will stay again.
