We had made a reservation for dinner, and even though the rest of the guests at the table were French-speaking, Pascaline made us feel included. The rooms were nice and staying on a farm gave us something different on our last night in the Loire Valley.

When I finally reached her place, she helped my contact my friends and drove me to their hotel--all while she was preparing dinner for other guests. The location is very quiet and the buildings interesting in that part of them are at least 400 years old. Sophie grows many of the foods served at breakfast including fresh raspberries - Sophie runs an excellent b&B. The rooms are spacious and clean. The petit dejeuner offered is delicious. Sophie makes her own fruit preserves! Sophie also speaks beautiful English; a plus for those whom may struggle with French.
