The owner could not have been more helpful at this hotel. we were cycle touring with a tandem and the owner allowed us to suite the bike in a back room keeping it safe and off the street. the owner was very friendly and recommended a very nice restaurant. the room was basic but clean and the breakfast was also very nice. highly recommended. -

distance to restaurants, town centre and marina to pass the evening
nicely before our ferry the next day. Staff were very helpful - they
keep a space free outside all the time for dropping off luggage,
helpful is storing bulky bikes for us even after we checked out,

Cherbourg is a quaint historic town. The hotel is on the waterfront with a scenic view. We were able to walk to the hotel from the ferry dock. The staff were very friendly and we stayed in an apartment suite with a kitchen and 3 bedrooms upstairs. Bathroom newly renovated and beautiful. This was our second stay at the Hotel Chantereyne and once again we couldn't fault it.
The staff are helpful and welcoming and have good knowledge of the area. The beds are comfortable and the rooms spotless. We loved the modern bathroom and the superb shower. Also great location, just 5 minutes from the ferry port and the town.
All in all a first class hotel.

This was a overnight stop after ferry crossing, conveniently situated and easy to find. The set up of the family room was very good, beds were very comfortable. Fortunately after a long day travelling we were pleased to see the hotel restaurant was still open and the staff were friendly. Good breakfast choices on self service buffet. -

We enjoyed our stay and will use this hotel group again. We thought that the range of food and choice at breakfast was very good value fro money. - Friendly staff.Emailed ahead through booking website and hotel had already set cot up in room at no extra cost.

Very good location for travelling through France, easy to find, and extremely pleasant and helpful staff. An excellent restaurant right next door meant we could eat and go to bed fairly early in preparation for a long drive the following day. Would definitely stay there again. -

very clean, new bathroom fixtures, hospitable host. building locked after 2230 and need a code to get into building plus key to room. right across from city train station but still a quiet area. great time of year - slept with windows open, heard birds and rain, very nice. didn't try the breakfast but it was available for a fee. -
