The staff is exceptional -- all spoke English, even the maid. All wentout of their way to be friendly and helpful and gracious. We added on ahalf day, since our flight didn't leave til evening, and the maid camein and made up the room with fresh towels and everything while we wereat lunch. The breakfast is also very good and varied. - Very convenie

the room were very small ,I have to up grade for two bed room apartments, apartments some room are good the rest is like 1 star bath room were 25yrs old all fungus on tiles i complain so they moved us on a better refurbish room that was good -

Very cool hotel! Great design, very comfortable, lovely staff, good restaurants, very good spa and facilities (gym and swimming pool). Good to know that the hotel is located in the highest building of the city and has a view (face to face) to the Canton Tower and the pearl river (and basically all the city, since the lobby is on the 70th floor and the hotel goes until the 100th).

The location is excellent for business travel as it is smack in the middle of Guangzhou. Travelling to and from Canton Fair is easy as they have a shuttle service. The also have registration for the fair at the hotel. the rooms are well maintained and room service is good. Internet is free but a little slow. -

As the category of rooms we booked were full, we were upgraded to a better category and as a result, probably we were better served and standard of rooms were better. Notwithstanding, we do appreciate being upgraded. -

The staff are English speaking and go out of their way to be helpful, the rooms are well appointed and have all facilities. There is a PC in every room which I found particularly useful. when I went away for a weekend to Beijing they were flexible enough to accommodate me. This is the second time I have been to Shenzhen and I had no hesitation in choosing the hotel again for my visit

Made a special request for early check in at 10am which was granted without any extra fees.

I loved everything about Shangri-La; although abit on the expensive side but worth it. The hotel is the grandest I have ever visited, the service is excellent and has lived up to its 5-star status. Loved every minute of it and cant wait to re-visit. -
