Our trip was to help our son relocate to Victoria from Edmonton. It took a few days to move into an apartment so they switched him to a room with kitchenette; (even on-site washer/dryer) with everything he ciuld have needed and spotlessly clean. The decor looked new, possibly just well maintained. Staff very friendly, gave us the room for a good weekly rate, great location just 5 minutes drive from Downtown. Would definitely return to this hotel.

We were disappointed the first night that a few things weren't working (24 hr hot tub, our tv, and our coffee maker) however once we expressed our dismay, the staff worked quickly to rectify it and in the end our opinion was changed and it turned out to be an amazing experience. The beds and the jacuzzi tubs in each room are AMAZING!!! -

Front desk staff were very efficient and helpful, they even offered to help me carry my stuff up to the 2nd floor as the elevator doesn't service the 2nd floor.
The room was updated and had nice bedding and pillows, the bed was very comfortable. Everything was clean and the room suited my needs.

Staff were pleasant. We were able to check in early and go for a long bike ride prior to actual check in time. Parking lot was clean (other than renovation furnishings), check in/out staff were helpful, and location was very central for our purposes.

Our room was clean and comfortable and contained everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The staff were most polite and friendly. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. After traveling for close to two weeks it was nice to have guest laundry which was accessible and clean. they even offered to provide the laundry soap.

The hotel is well located, close to Tofino, but on the park side of it. A handy feature is that the hotel includes boat tours at a discount for whale-watching and to the hot springs, which was advantageously priced for customers. The room itself was more than a room, but really a suite, equipped with a king-sized bed. There was a stove, and a fridge, and a little porch where one could eat. The Himwitsa Lodge is a beautiful place to stay. The room was first class. It was very clean and comfortable with lovely decor and furniture and outstanding views across the Pacific ocean. The staff and proprietors were lovely, kind and helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend Himwitsa Lodge. Tofino is a lovely unspoilt place and we hope it remains so. Being from England, we didn't even mind the heavy rain.

We enjoyed everything about this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good and the bar staff were great and even made me a hot citrus drink at no charge when I exclaimed that I was unwell and unable to have an alcoholic beverage. The location was very centralised to all that we needed to do in Victoria. The check in staff member let us unload our vehicle out the front of the hotel and park there until we were settled and happy with our room. Parking was a bloc away from
