The staff at the front desk and the concierge were amazingly helpful and great to deal with. Even when I had to go late at night to get something from my car the concierge happily assisted me. When the lady checking us in realised we were in a group she immediately gave us rooms close to each other. Unusual style for a hotel, but once settled in just so friendly, all staff and other guests greet each other so easily. Sitting in the sun outside our room reading the papers was a lovely experience. This hotel is so beautiful. It is a short taxi or bus ride from Manly and just really peaceful. The rooms are gorgeous. We had an amazing view of Sydney. The staff were so lovely, offered us a lift to the station the next day. We ate at the restaurant, also great. Amazing history to the place, like staying at a museum.

The location is absolutely great but the wonderful and 'nothing is too much trouble' attitude of the staff (management and housekeeping) was really refreshing. They made a basic hotel feel really welcoming, comfortable and like 'home'. If they could do anything to help, then they did and always with a smile. I loved it. -

Very close to the beach (I could just about see the ocean from my window!). The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room I had was quite small but comfortable. There are cooking and clothes washing facilities and also wifi. The price was very reasonable and I'd definitely recommend Manly Guest House. -

The obliging demour of the friendly desk staff. The cleaning staff did a great job. The kitchen facilities were terrific. The location was exceptional in relation to Coles and Harris' Farm Market. Travelling to the city on the ferry was relaxing and enjoyable.
Australia Day on the harbour was terrific. The staff at the quest were

The staff were warm, friendly, very helpful, and available. The room we had suited our needs perfectly,and any extra crockery was provided immediately so that we could entertain family. I can't fault this as a place to stay. It was very good value for money and we are planning to return. -
