Very good location in district 3 but also at the edge of district 1. Quick walk to a number of the main attractions and downtown area. Lots of coffee bars also nearby. The staff atvthe hotel are very professional and helpful. The apartments are large and spacious and although I booked a 1 bedroom apartment was given a 3 bed / 2 bathroom apartment which was very spacious (probably more suitable for a family). There is a moderate kitchen with seperate laundry room which is handy as your clothes .
all reviews » As a family of 6 we loved the hotel. The 3-bedroom apartment we booked was huge and so comfortable for us, and the price was just a bit more than 1 room in a 5-star hotel. Breakfast was also good, as was the swimming pool. Service was very friendly and although the hotel is located in District 3, it was only a 7 minute walk to the city centre or a cheap taxi ride away. I recommend this hotel for everyone, especially families. There is a very good Japanese restaurant, Tokyo Town, and a supermark. Great location , nearby centre and other landmarks. There is a sizeable supermarket behind the building for the grocery. The staff is very friendly and helpful, we have lost our belongings in the taxi and the staff was very responsible and enthusiastic to help us out with all the paper works. They listened to our comments and they were willing to improve, especially breakfast. We personally find that the staff is a real value added for sherwood`s success. Very helpful, friendly staff especially on front desk. Clean and very spacious apartments with good facilities.swimming pool very good for a city hotel and surprisingly large.shuttle bus to city saved a lot of walking!. No free Wifi in room, only in public area's. Cost for hotel picking up from airport is 6 times more expensive than taking a taxi. Some furniture need to be replaced or well maintained. The outlay doesn`t make the atmosphere cosy. 12 usd daily to use WiFi. This is a lot for travellers who just want to look at emails and book onward hotels. We went to a coffee shop down the road. Nothing. It's only a very minor point, beds are a little hard but this seems to be the norm for Vietnam. Despite being booked in with 2 kids and there being plenty of sofa beds etc, they only made up 1 kids bed. Didn't really matter as they were so tired they just shared anyway. We might have misunderstood but we were unaware of the cinema and games area. Only found it by accident on the check out day. Nothing apartments and all staff (reception,bar,doorman and housekeeping)were excellent. Next to construction site. Should consider for halal food for breakfast in future because most of world wide hotel already started providing this due to expanding Muslim travelers. Too calculative on head count, should considerate to children travel with parent. Internet is not free inside rooms although it's free in public areas!. Bar area didn't meet any other travellers there. No free wifi in the room. None really. Nothing. No real downsides. Nothing. They need better coffee. Some if the rooms were a bit stale smelly. breakfast could be better. No variety in Breakfast, Toileteries not replenished, Communication was a issue. Free Wifi should be in the rooms as well. I hope free internet connection in the room next time. The kitchen had a very bad smell all the time. No extend on check out time . No free WIFI in lobby! But the webpage said hotel offers FREE WIFI in lobby. Obviously, the web page lied, if not the hotel. Staff only said sorry with smile in response. Internet in the room not included, you have to pay for it 15usd daily.
