The location for touring Cape Cod is excellent, on one of the principal roads but with the least traffic, and for those who stay a few da - The backyard and frontyard are gorgeous. We were able to sit outside and relax often. The location is also pretty good. Less than a minute drive to a bank and ice creamery. There is also a cute convience store and alcohol store less than a walk away. The owner is also great. He was able to give us directions to the best route up the cape. We basically got to see everything we needed to see because of his directions! No gps needed. The breakfast is also delicious. We did not want to leave this p

  Fantastic ! The hotel was clean, beautiful and the hosts were just wonderful! The bed was so comfortable.. The bath updated and so many little touches.. Coffee stations with half&half!! Fresh baked cookies.. Love it..Breakfast was delightful! Great restaurant right next door.. Walk to lovely lake.. Just the most perfect weekend! Such a lovely house with comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. The breakfasts were really sensational - all home cooked and very different. Coffee/Tea making facilities outside our room and an extensive Library to borrow from on rainy days. Just a lovely relaxing holiday.

Loved the walk-in closet, and the front and back balconies with doors to each, gave us more privacy if desired. Also liked the larger size fridge rather than the small compact unit usually provided - The room was spacious and clean. The front desk staff people were friendly and very helpful with restaurant recommendations. Best of all, the motel is right in the middle of Main Street, within walking distance of lots of restaurants and boutiques and the ferry terminal.

  Not perfectly located, but Tidewater made up for that in the friendliness of the staff, value, facilities, cleanliness and comfort. And not forgetting the amazing on-site breakfast diner! The guy on reception was very helpful and gave hints and tips on local eateries and things to do.   The indoor pool was great for the kids especially since it was raining. Our room was clean and large enough for the 4 of us. - It was dirt cheap to stay at and if you only need a room, shower, and bathroom while you visit the cape this is the place.

  Actually, after all the "negatives" I had seen and read about "American Host Motel" (after I booked it), I was very pleased with everything about it. Yes - the hot tub wasn't working...   The staff was SUPER accommodating and VERY friendly and efficient. The lcoation was within walking distance of most shops and restaurants in Hyannis. I was impressed with the swiftness and efficiency displayed by all staff members. The value is the main reason I stayed, but it's not the reason I will come back. Location and staff.
