  This hotel, though on the southern tip of Manhattan, was conveniently located near several subway stations providing access to many different lines.   We arrived to a great staff, great location. Wilson put us on the top floor with a fantastic view of Brooklyn. We had a 12 and a 9 year old with us and the hotel was close to the top of their list of sites that included all of New Yorks hits. 12 year old got sick and the staff let us check out late and even sent toast and ginger ale to our room... what people say » .   Me and my wife love the Aloft. We came here Christmas Eve of 2012 and returned for another stay for my wife's birthday in November 2013. I was surprising my wife taking her out then to the Hotel because she loves it here. The lady at the front desk asked me if my wife was outside when I made reservations and I told her how it is a surprise for her... what people say » birthday. She then told me since your wife love the hotel we would like to give a complimentary give to her. They gave us a great bottle of champagne - Absolutely excellent customer service. I can't speak highly enough of their courtesy, friendliness, and desire to make us comfortable. I was there with my elderly mother, and we will definitely recommend the hotel to others.
