The location was perfect from the airport and site seeing. The beds were super comfortable. The room was very clean and the bathroom was the cleanest that we have ever seen in years of traveling. Raddison's staff were professional and friendly. Fabulous beds! I slept so comfortably and that is what we needed. Just a quick place to sleep before heading home and close to the airport. Nice hotel and great staff, especially the snow boarder at the front desk. She was very helpful!.
all reviews » Arrived at 2:00 a.m. and still had shuttle service from the airport. Excellent accommodations and wonderful, friendly, gracious staff. One of my best hotel stays ever after an extremely stressful flight day through LAX on 11/1/13. The hotel is a bit older but of good quality. Towels were fluffy. Beds and pillows were comfortable. The room was very clean. There was no breakfast included, but those free breakfasts are generally 'you get what you pay for'. We were there for Medical Reasons, we had to come from out of State to have a procedure at the Huntsman Cancer Institute. We were very comfortable, and it was easy to find, close to where we needed to be. Close location to the airport and to the city. Very nice staff. Interesting building. Comfortable bedding. Great breakfast (food choices and vaue) and staff in dining room. Good shower. Location was perfect to use the green line trax into the city. No car needed. Green line newer than the hotel!!! I was only there for a grand total of about 9 hours but as a woman traveling alone I felt safe - very important. The pool in the website looked a lot bigger and different than it really is. Nothing. Had a difficult time with the sleep number bed. We made two independent bookings on two consecutive days but the room was not cleaned on the second day. The two bookings are of different rates but we were mistakenly charged the higher rate for the two days with no apology. Remote location. The staff in the breakfast room was sloppy. Had to ask for every cup of coffe, for juice which was empty for a long time, their noisy handling of the china. Floor elevator. The first night at the hotel -- July 2 -- we were given the key to a room that was occupied --- not once but twice! We went into the first room and found luggage. We were at the door of the second room, when two men walked out. We then were booked into a third room. We returned to the hotel on July 7. On July 8, I awoke to a rash of insect bites on my neck and left shoulder. I called the hotel when I arrived home to alert them. No issues. Nothing. Room not made up on one day. wi fi could not connect. Asked downstairs , no help. Room temp. was very hot. couldn't control the thermostat. Couldn't get the TV to work. Loft type suite. Air conditioner didn't work so are room was very hot so wife an I didn't sleep well. One of queen sleep number beds didn't work. Felt breakfast buffet was overpriced for what was there to choose from. Mucked up room service order. Very small bathroom vanity; sleep number bed is uncomfortable. Now I know I don't want a sleep number bed. Nothing I didn't like. They put a $50 charge on my credit card for some stupid reason. The pealing wall paper int the bathroom. The room in general was looking a little tired. Stains on carpeting in the main room, ripped curtain. The heat was not working. When the heat was turned on, only cold air came out. We were very uncomfortable all night.
