  That most of rooms have a kitchen. That you can ski in and ski out. It is very homey and comfortable. Movies and activities for kids. Ski check. - the location, the over-all feeling and the amenities. Staff was very welcoming. Breakfast in Crawford was fantastic!

  The Jack O Lantern Resort is a clean, comfortable, roomy option for families traveling to Mount Washington. I traveled with my wife, two kids, and in-laws. We could have each had our own bed, the bathrooms were clean, the kitchen was stocked with plates and utensils, it was a five minute drive to a supermarket, the kids ate for free at the buffe... what people say » t, and the kids loved playing on the playground. Best of all, we were only three exits away from the Flume Gorge and we made it to our 8:15 Cog Railr - This 2-BR unit was perfect for our needs. Surprisingly spacious, comfortable, well-equipped (including dry firewood and a washing machine and dryer) ... much better than expected from existing online reviews. We spent four nights here and were very happy with everything. Excellent value!

  Requested extra pillows and towels and we got them! Pleasant and helpful staff! Coffee and muffins hit the spot! We r coming back for the big room with hot tub! Oh yeah!! - It was clean and good value for the money. I did not use any of the amenities but the pool and hot tub area looked clean and not a lot of people.

  I was very impressed with the facility and the staff. It was more than I expected and the view was stunning from our balcony. Our children (9mo, 3yrs, and 6 yrs) had plenty of space in the one berm apt. Not to mention the 3 pools, playground, bonfire and more. Definitely caters to those with and without family.   Location was convenient to antique shops, an awesome array of food from hot dogs to prime rib,hiking trails you could literally walk to, and the views from right on the property. We travelled with two young dogs, and to be able to leave them at the hotel and use it as our base camp to go eat or shop, then go get them and walk off a great meal was ... what people say » priceless . - The staff was really friendly and the place was clean.   The Margate is a large and resorty hotel (we tend not to go for any hotel with "resort" in the name) and we got exactly what we expected. And the lady at the bar was wonderful. - I enjoyed the hotel very much. The front desk staff was exceptional, friendly and very helpful.   The room was spacious and very clean... Had a stunning view out on the balcony... The Victorian Style motif was appreciated by the Mrs...the Canopy bed was wonderful... The Penthouse Suite had plates, dishes, microwave, fridge... Granite countertops... Mantlepiece with fireplace with remote... Sofa, chairs, extra towels....   We love the full kitchen. The gas fireplace, and most of all the jacuzzi tub in the bedroom. Although the place has a few years on it. One would never know. Rooms have that fresh look to them. :) - Our room was very spacious and the kitchen was nice. The outdoor and indoor pools were very nice.
