  The Peabody Court, built in the 1920s as a luxury apartment building, is a delightful blend of elegant old-world design and decor with modern convenience. I will definitely return to this gem of a hotel. - The staff were great and upgraded our room gratis when we arrived ro an 8th floor room with a spectacular view of the monument. The room was beautiful and large and had character, plus it was quiet. It sits in a wonderful neighborhood close to great restaurants and right on Mount Vernon park. You get a real flavor of Baltimore at its best here (I grew up here).

  I don't know where all the negative reviews come from, but we found this to be a very clean motel.I Grew up with family owning a motel, and a grand-mother who cracked the whip at cleanliness for others, so first thing I did was check the beds, and the shower..(force of habit), also gave it a white glove check around picture frames and door way..al... what people say » l passed. Staff was extremely friendly at all times, and access to the beach was out the door ,cross the street, and you were there, making our 6 yr o - The place is a short walk to the beach and places to eat such as Hungry Jack (pancake house) with Pizza Hut not far away. Recently renovated rooms were very comfortable and modern. The A/C worked great! Also, water pressure for the bathrooms were good. Not like some places where the shower drools out water. Will definitely consider staying here again.

  We were visiting Baltimore for our fifth wedding anniversary. When I mentioned it to the lady checking us in she put us in a room with a full harbor view and later they brought a small choc cake to our room. The staff was very nice especially the doorman he made us feel right at home. The hotel was a little expensive, but worth it for the experie... what people say » nce. - The staff and the hotel were fantastic. I can not sleep without a white noise and they searched high and low to find me a fan that I think came from an employee's office. The breakfast buffet was delicious and all the service was excellent.

  Art the owner was the BEST! My sons had the best senior week ever. Once Art knew I was a stern, watchful but caring mom. He was very nice and helpful to my boys. Too bad the room two door down did not have parents that taught them manners. At the end of the stay he called me and thanked me for having respectful young men I my family. I wish I could give ten stars however this hotel is worth much more - Great location - couldn't be better, not too close to the noise from the fun-fair on the boardwark, but right on the beach and with a wonderful view from the large balconies at the end of the house (not from the rooms).   We found the hotel to be ideally located to walk into town without being in the middle of the crowds. (and there is a free shuttle stop nearby to take you downtown as well.)There were numerous great restaurant options close by. We especially enjoyed Miss Shirley's. The hotel staff was excellent.   We stayed In a 1 bedroom suite and it was better than expected. The bed was amazing. We booked a couple of rooms at the same time and they kept us together. We came to baltimore to celebrate my 40th birthday in fells point which was not far from the hotel. We plan on definitely returning for a friends birthday.   My sister and I were there for a weekend of Christmas shopping and really like the hotel shuttle that took us back and forth to the mall. One shuttle driver went put of way when our car was out of gas. He took us to gas station to get some gas and then assisted us with putting on tank.
